Your Swedish-American Connection
The Swedish Council of America unveiled our new corporate logo and slogan in September 2007. The logo's bold, modern look retains the well-recognized Three Crowns of Sweden. Together with the three diamonds representing Canada, the United States and Sweden, they form the outline of a Star, emblematic of America. Adding a stylized version of our name, the entire logo uses the traditional Swedish blue and yellow colors -- a look that immediately resonates with all who share an interest in Sweden.
We also have adopted a related new slogan: "Your Swedish-American Connection." This motto connotes both the connection between Sweden and North America as well as the connection between the many groups and individuals in Swedish America. In short, the slogan expresses the SCA's unique role in connecting and uniting all the various members of our larger Swedish-American community.
