Swedish Center of San Diego

In May the Swedish Center is running a Swedish film festival and this spring the organization launches their new Web site. Obviously the Swedish Center in San Diego is on the move.

The Swedish Center is a forum for the entire Swedish community in the San Diego area. It focuses on academic exchange, cultural and scientific enrichment and evolvement - connecting Sweden with the future generations of the region. On April 27, May 18, and June 1, the Swedish Center is running a Swedish film festival at the modern and tasteful Ulla "Lotta" Wiik Auditorium at San Diego State University. This year's wonderful Swedish Oscar submission "You, the Living" will be screened on the 18th of May.

The Swedish Center is launching a new Web site in late spring. "There are exciting times ahead for Swedish Center in San Diego," says Consul Ulf Brynjestad, Ph.D., Chairman for the Swedish Center. The launch of a more advanced Web site is yet another step for the Swedish Center to become the forum for the entire Swedish community in the San Diego area.
