Grants & Awards

Two of the SCA's primary programs, Grants and Awards, recognize the greatness which exists throughout Swedish America.

The Grants Program provides funding for projects that promote knowledge and understanding of the Swedish heritage or serve to strengthen contemporary ties between North America and Sweden.

The Awards Program honors outstanding contributions to Swedish America and the world by famous and not-so-famous individuals. The awards include our Award of Merit and our SCA Heritage Awards.  We also recognize exceptional scientific and mathematical accomplishments at our Swedish heritage colleges through our Glenn T. Seaborg Science Award.
